“Westside Santa Cruz,” is a portfolio of 64 images documenting a quiet residential district in Santa Cruz on the north tip of the Monterey Bay. The photographs were made 1979/1980. The original photographs were made using 6 X 7 transparency film printed on Cibachrome. Lecturing on the History of Photography at UCSC combined with an interest in the diverse individualism of Westside Santa Cruz properties contributed form and content for the project.
