The difficult and unpredictable nature of Polachrome film, the unique graphic line detail characteristic of the film (invisible on line), the intense color resulting from the film and the Cibachrome process and a desire to photograph important people in my daily life, family, close friends and students, formed the structure for the photographs in this series made between 1980-82.
