These images are included to give historical reference.  The photographs were made between 1960 and 1973.  The series begins with “India,” my first print made in a makeshift kitchen darkroom at night, followed by photographs made as an undergraduate at San Francisco Art Institute and graduate school at San Francisco State University.   Jack Welpott, Professor, San Francisco State University was an important mentor throughout this time.  A variety of cameras, 35mm, twin lens reflex 6 X 6 and 4 X 5 view camera were used to make this work.  The hand coloring materials included water color dyes, water color, guache, crayon and pencil.
